BBR wallops local team
BBR United FC walloped Isithama X1 4-0 in an entertaining game played at the Isithama Sports Grounds on Sunday afternoon.

Local lads Isithama started the game like a house on fire, creating spaces in the middle of the park. Their undoing was instead of shooting from the edge of the penalty area, they tried to walk the ball into the net.
After absorbing pressure in the first twenty minutes, United changed the nature of the game and started to trouble the locals. It came as no surprise when they opened their account through “Ace” Thabo.
He acrobatically slotted a fine cross from the right flank into the net.
Six minutes later, Lazarus Muthabini beat the ‘keeper with a volley to make it 2-0 shortly before the half-time whistle blew.
United came back more determined than ever in the second half. They increased their margin to 3-0 after the goalkeeper fumbled an innocent-looking cross from the left flank and allowed Peter Mnisi to tap the ball into the net.
But Mnisi nearly spoiled the game when he intentionally stamped on Khethani Mudau’s ankle.
The midfielder was left sprawled on the ground in pain. Muthabini completed the rout when he scored the final goal in the dying minutes of the game.
