Mabuza vows to win boxing title
Tembisa's boxing sensation, Kaizer Mabuza, will meet Tyson Ushona in Namibia tomorrow.
Ushona, from Namibia, will be defending his WBO championship belt, something he has successfully done on five previous occasions.
South African boxing fans were stunned when the Namibian knocked out former South African and WBO champion, Isaac Hlwatswayo, within four rounds four years ago.
But the formidable and hard-working Mabuza said he is not afraid of the Namibian fighting machine.
“I am going to beat him on Saturday. I have been training for the past six weeks preparing for this fight. I know he is a big puncher and is very fast, but I am more than ready for him. He is going to bite the dust on Saturday,” he said.
When asked if he has seen his opponent’s fights on video, Mabuza said not at all. “But that is not a problem for me. I have been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the world, and this is my time.”
