National bowls tourney in Benoni

THE 30th Woman’s Nationals Bowls Tournament will take place at Benoni Country Club from July 5 to10.

East Rand Nomads will host the 94 participating bowlers from each of the 12 districts in the country.

It will be the first time in many years that the tournament will be hosted on the East Rand.

At this event East Rand Nomads reward women for their hard work in raising money for local and national charities throughout the year.

East Rand Nomads are part of a national organisation called Nomad Bowls Southern Africa. They encourage the bowling community to affiliate to Nomads.

Charities are supported on a national basis through the district.
