Giant Killers slayed 2-1

New Generation FC’s U/17 team faced Giant Killers FC in a Tembisa Keep Fit Winter Games encounter at the Bokamoso Sports Grounds on Sunday.

Both teams showed a lot of confidence from the first blast of the whistle.
New Generation FC, however, made sure there were no gaps in its defence.
They were both determined to lead and it was New Generation FC that opened the scoring through the left winger Kagiso Moagi.
Moagi managed to dribble the ball past the opposition goalkeeper and scored in the 15th minute.
Giant Killers struck back with an equaliser in the 20th minute with a stunning goal from the striker, Sandiswa Kunene.
The first half ended with the scores level at 1-1.
In the second half, the teams returned to the field with different strategies.
Thato Kekana, from New Generation FC, scored a second goal and secured victory for his team.
Giant Killers FC were unable to come back with an equaliser and the match ended 2-1 in favour of New Generation FC.
