Phazamisa “Sister Poppie” Mashele managed to score a goal, putting Dolphin FC in the lead.

Collin Zimba, from Samuel 11, scored an equaliser 15 minutes later.

The score was 1-1 at the end of the first half.

The second 45 minutes proved to be tough, with neither team conceding a goal.

“My boys are playing well, we are still in the pre-season and our new recruits are doing well. We are playing against experienced guys here, like Collin Zimba, who is playing professional football already,” said Fanuel Boke, the owner of Dolphin FC.

The second half ended with the score still locked on 1-1, which resulted in the game progressing into a penalty shootout.

Samuel 11 managed to take victory, defeating Dolphins FC 4-2 in penalties.
