Norkem Park Primary teachers get into the action

TWO Norkem Park Primary School teachers have made their mark in inter-provincial and national sporting events.

Jenna Rillema was part of the u-23 Eastern Gauteng action netball team that won a silver medal at the inter-provincials after losing to KwaZulu-Natal in the seven-a-side tournament.

Eastern Gauteng, again, made the gold finals for the six-a-side tournament, this time beating Western Gauteng and winning gold.

Brett Hanson was selected as a referee in the future champions u-17 football tournament.

Teams from Russia, Italy, Spain, Mexico, India and Nigeria participated.

Teams such as Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Wits represented South Africa.
