White Horse FC beat Eleven Spartans FC in a fierce u-13 match at Phomolong Sports Grounds on January 21.Scelo Shaba, White Horse FC coach, said the game was a friendly game in celebration of their opponent’s coach, Active Ngobeni.

“The first half was very difficult, we only focused on finishing. The goals we created came from our wingers.

“Our midfield was not strong today,” said Scelo.

He said he made no substitutes in the first half because he had no reserve players.

White Horse FC scored their first goal four minutes into the game.

“The first goal was scored by Lebogang Langa and in fifteen minutes Lesiba ‘Benzima’ Sehlapelo scored our second goal.

“During the half-time break, I made the boys aware that we were lacking in midfield.

“I told them to attack more, they shouldn’t give their opponents a chance,” Scelo explained.

In the second half, the opponents equalised and when the final whistle blew the score was 2-2.

The match went on to a penalty shoot-out and the score was 4-2 in favour of White Horse FC.

White Horse FC and Eleven Spartans FC played a fierce game.
