Tembisa’s Thokollo to play golf with the President
Although she did not come out of the Malaysian tournament as a winner, she acquitted herself very well
A young junior academy member at Kempton Park Golf Club had been selected from a host of South African u-14 junior golfers to play in a world tournament in Malaysia in December.
Twelve-year-old Thokollo Dhlamini from Tembisa also has a certificate showing she had been invited to play in two other international tournaments later this year. Although she did not come out of the Malaysian tournament as a winner, she acquitted herself very well, considering she was a year younger than the other participants.

Local businessman, Greg Kruger, was the main sponsor of her trip to Malaysia, accompanied by her mom. The Modderfontein Golden Oldies also contributed to the costs of this trip by paying R16000 towards the air tickets.
Thokollo, a learner at Endulweni Primary School in Tembisa, has also been invited by Progressive Women in Golf to play with the President at Atlantic Beach Golf Club in Cape Town on February 8.
