The Dojo karatekas receive awards
Karatekas at The Dojo Kempton Park were rewarded for their continued hard work during 2018.
Karatekas at The Dojo Kempton Park were rewarded for their achievements at the club’s awards evening at the club on Monday.
“The karatekas were awarded for their hard work, great achievements and continuous training during 2018,” said Janien Potgieter, the club’s senior instructor, who has recently successfully graded to 6th Dan (Roku-Dan).
“They have competed in shotokan karate regional and national championships, have attended gashukus and are always at training.”
Potgieter also said she was proud of all of her karatekas at the local dojo.
Celine Strydom was awarded the most outstanding karateka for 2018, Neketan Sanena received outstanding karateka for 2018, Dylan Kolm took most technical karateka of the year and outstanding karateka of the Year 2018 awards and David Hlabane received technical karateka of the year 2018.
