Karate club hosts award evening

The dojo’s award evening focused on the karatekas’ good performances throughout the year 2019.

Karatekas and instructors at The Dojo Kempton Park held their award evening on January 30. Excellence and constituency were among the things recognised at The Dojo Kempton Park’s awards evening held last Thursday evening.

The evening aimed at shining the light on the members’ respective performances throughout the year 2019.

Some of the certificates awarded were for good attendance and participation in championships.

Violet Hinz, Liam Prinsloo, Izu Peterson, Marlize Barnard, Joanne Martins, Michelle Prinsloo, Agata and Kelsey Szafranski received the good attendance award. Michelle, Agata, Hinz and Kelsey were also recognised for assisting in the championships while Liam Prinsloo received the participation in championships award.
