Seven bowlers selected for inter-district

Seven players from Kempton Park Bowling Club have been selected to represent the Ekurhuleni provincial teams during a week-long inter-district week in March where 20 districts will compete.

Each side (A and B) consists of players and a manager selected from the 24 clubs in Ekurhuleni.

The inter-district challenge will start on March 8 when the B men and women sides will play in Ekurhuleni at the Edenvale, Modderfontein, Dellville and Alberton clubs.

The A men and women teams will play in Port Elizabeth until March 13.

The local players selected are Liezl George (B), Christna du Plessis (B), Issie Standon (B), Grant George (A), Sarel Kruger (B), Richard O’Connelan (B) and Jaun Gibbons (B).
