MTFC 2 Fight Day held in Aston Manor

Irma confirmed that the next fight day hosted by the shopping centre will take place in February next year.

Aston Manor Shopping Centre hosted the MTFC 2 Fight Day on Saturday.

The white-collar boxing event also features two Muaythai exhibitions and live entertainment.

“Muaythai Fitness Centre teamed up with Cyber Saloon’s Boxing to put on the Muaythai exhibition fight day,” said centre manager, Irma Erasmus.

She added that spectators enjoyed a family day out with a jam-packed fight card.

Irma confirmed that the next fight day hosted by the shopping centre will take place in Februarty next year.

“Boxing and martial art enthusiasts enjoyed the spectacular performances put on by the MTFC’s fighters.

“Muaythai is known as ‘the art of eight limbs’ where fighters are taught how to use both fists, elbows, knees and shins in a self-defence or combat situation,” Irma said.

The fight card for the day included Marthalize Marais, Chantel van der Westhuizen, Candice Hamer and Raven Annendale.

“Andrew Liebenberg, Amy-Lee Karsten, Hannah Begs, Reinhard Marques and Shaun Snyman were also among those who participated.”
