Parents and netball players get together in Birchleigh
Food and drinks bringing parents and netball players together for the first annual meeting.
Kempton and Tembisa Netball Club hosted a parents’ meet and greet lunch at the club’s Birchleigh grounds on April 15.

The event aimed to raise funds for the club.
According to head coach Abongile Ngomane, the event aimed to introduce parents to each other ahead of the 2023 sporting year.
“The event was to welcome players and parents formally and have drinks and food.
The team discussed their plans for the year ahead and shared the club’s vision, mission and goals.

Parents also had the opportunity to meet all our coaches and executives.
“We also nominated captains for the U12, U15, U19 and senior teams,” said Ngomane.
