Young Kempton Park referee takes centre stage

Daniel Jessop is a 15-year-old footballer and Level 2 referee from Kempton Park.
He started as a footballer and later got interested in being a referee. He has been a referee for a year now.

“Being a referee is fun and interesting. You get different opinions from players and coaches, but it is up to you to decide,” he said.
Daniel encourages other young people to get into refereeing.
“It is a great experience and easier when you understand the rules of the game,” he said.
