Baseball fun day is back on June 29

The annual Anything But a Mitt baseball fun day is back.

The event is scheduled for June 29 at the Giants/Imps Baseball Club at the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

Last year’s event saw participants use party hats, washing baskets, popcorn buckets and even a portable braai as a substitute for their baseball mitts.

Entry costs R250 per team for nine to 10 players. The entry fee for all non-players on the day will be R10.
