Van Riebeeck Park wrestlers excel at provincial championships

Michael Oosthuizen and Jaun Vorster, two talented young wrestlers from Van Riebeeck Park, have made their mark in the Provincial Team Championships for Ekurhuleni and Gauteng North.

Both wrestlers qualified with three gold medals each, to participate at the South African Wrestling Championships that will be held at the Stellenbosch University in September.

Oosthuizen, from the Centurion Wrestling Club, will be wrestling for the Gauteng North team in the U13 freestyle, Presidents and Greco-Roman categories.

Vorster, from the Primrose Wrestling Club, will be wrestling for the Ekurhuleni team in the U13 freestyle, Presidents and Greco-Roman categories.
