Local karateka makes a name for herself

Megane Potgieter from The Dojo – Kempton Park was recently honoured as the sportswoman of the year 2024 at the annual award ceremony held at Benoni Dojo.

Potgieter’s outstanding achievements include seven gold medals, six silver medals, and four bronze medals, showcasing her dedication and skill in the sport.

Adding to her accolades, she was also awarded the most outstanding junior female trophy at the National Championships held in Cape Town in May.
