Tembisa South SAPS scores big in district soccer league
In a spirited match, Tembisa South SAPS defeated Rabie Ridge SAPS 5-1 during Week 18 of the Ekurhuleni North District Soccer League, promoting fitness and teamwork among officers.
Members of the Tembisa South SAPS on July 23 took to the field in a spirited soccer match against Rabie Ridge SAPS as part of Week 18 of the Ekurhuleni North District Soccer League.
The match kicked off at 15:00 and drew support from SAPS colleagues across the region.
Social Crime Prevention members supported the event, which was also attended by members from other stations, including Ivory Park and Midrand SAPS.

The presence and encouragement from fellow officers created an atmosphere of camaraderie and community spirit.
Tembisa South SAPS came out on top with a 5–1 victory over Rabie Ridge, securing three valuable points in the league.
The station commander of Tembisa South SAPS, Colonel Elmari Pero, congratulated the team on their performance and reminded officers of the importance of fitness and well-being.
“Tembisa South is a place for winners. I want to see victories not only on the soccer field but also in our daily fight against crime. Let us make sure Tembisa South becomes a crime-free area,” said Pero.
She further encouraged members to continue using Sports Wednesdays to stay active, relieve stress, and strengthen teamwork.
