Tembisa South SAPS wins 3–2 against OR Tambo SAPS

Tembisa South SAPS scored a thrilling 3–2 win against OR Tambo SAPS in the Ekurhuleni North District Soccer League on 20 August, with strong support from colleagues and a boost for their league title ambitions.

On August 20, Tembisa South SAPS Social Crime Prevention lent its support as members participated in a spirited soccer match against OR Tambo SAPS in the Ekurhuleni North District Soccer League.

The match drew strong support from both stations, with colleagues turning out to cheer for their teams.

Constable Kate Selepe of Tembisa South SAPS expressed gratitude for the encouragement shown.

“Members from Tembisa South blessed us with their presence at the game, and members from both police stations came to provide support to the soccer players during the tournament.

SAPS members promote fitness and healthy lifestyles.

“The support was much appreciated. Colonel Pero, station commander of Tembisa South SAPS, encourages members to stay fit and look after themselves, always emphasising the importance of using the Wednesday sports opportunity,” she said.

Tembisa South SAPS secured a hard-fought 3–2 victory over OR Tambo SAPS, earning three valuable points.

Station Commander Colonel Pero welcomed the win, noting that it strengthened Tembisa South SAPS’s chances of taking the league title.
