Suzuki’s latest hatchback has shown that the brand is more than willing to cater for those who want something that costs similar to its funky Swift, but with a more practical side. The Baleno provides a large passenger compartment and a practical boot (355 litres).
The Baleno also offers an efficient powertrain in the form of a 1.4-litre four-cylinder with 68kW/130Nm for a fuel consumption figure of 5.4-litres/100km while a manual and automatic version is available. Prices start from R199 900 for the GL version and go up to R244 900 for the GLX auto.
