Coffee morning with author Robin Binckes
Members of the public are welcome to attend this event
FRIENDS of Modderfontein Library will host a coffee morning with author Robin Binckes on August 7, from 9.30am.
The event will commence with refreshments, served at a cost of R20 a person. The talk will begin and 10am and there will be time afterwards for interaction with the author, who will have copies of his books on sale and for signing.
Binckes has his own business, Spear of the Nation, which specialises in historical tours for local and overseas visitors. He also conducts experiential tours and talks for many South African and international companies and learning institutions, focussing on diversity and transformation.
He has written three books and his second, “Great Trek Uncut”, which is a non-fiction account of the history of South Africa up to 1852, was published in 2013 and is a South African best-seller. This will be the theme of Robin’s talk on August 7.
