Friends of the Modderfontein Library host coffee morning
The event will start at 9.30am with refreshments served at a cost of R20 per person
ANNE Boleyn and other Tudor queens will be the hot topic of discussion at the upcoming coffee morning, hosted by The Friends of Modderfontein Library.
Robert Capper, a historian, will present a talk on the subject of the Tudor queens, focusing on Anne Boleyn.
Boleyn is one of the most famous queens in English history, though she ruled for just three years. The Tudor queens were part of the Tudor family, who ruled England, Wales and Ireland from 1485 to 1603.
Capper is a passionate historian and a very entertaining speaker. Earlier in the year, he presented a talk on a similar subject which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present.
The coffee morning will be held on October 16 at the Modderfontein Library, on Queen Street, Modderfontein. Members of the public are invited to join the conversation.
The event will start at 9.30am with refreshments served at a cost of R20 per person.
