Tickets are on sale for the Great Moscow Circus

The show contains no animal acts

The world-famous Great Moscow Circus will be back in South Africa with an all-new, sensational, two-hour world premiere programme featuring more than 65 circus superstars.

The Great Moscow Circus will open its South African season at Montecasino on December 22, before setting off to tour South Africa visiting Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.

It will perform in its spectacular Big Top Tent, air-conditioned with individual chair seating, creating a traditional European atmosphere where the audience will never be more than 11 metres from the action.

Featuring more than 18 thrilling acts, including the best from Russia and the cream of the international circus world, the Great Moscow Circus brings with it more than 100 tonnes of equipment.

It will perform every possible circus favourite – the funniest clowns, the most-daring acrobats, death-defying daredevils, aerial artists, balancers, showgirls and much more. The show contains no animal acts.

Back by popular demand is ringmaster, Stanislav “Stas” Knyazkov, fresh from a US season with Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey, where he was an audience favourite.

Tickets are already on sale at Computicket. Ticket prices range from R150 to R595 a person.
