LOCAL gospel music lovers can look forward to one of the biggest gospel concerts to be hosted in Gauteng this year: the Ekurhuleni Gospel Experience at Kempton’s Dries Niemandt Park, starting at 11am on November 5.
Vux Productions will host the event which will also feature artists and choirs from Ekurhuleni. Participating gospel greats include Dr Tumi, Judith Sephuma, Sfiso Ncwane, Solly Mahlangu, Kgaogelo Manamela, Lejwe la Motho and many more.
“We targeted worshippers of Christ when we selected our artists and we looked at those who’re loved by Ekurhuleni people. We also plan to make this an annual event for the people of Ekurhuleni – to make this one of the spirit elevation places,” said director of Vux, Phineas Ngwenya, who was born and raised in Ekurhuleni.
“Apart from that, this is also an event that’s going to grow the economy of Ekurhuleni with thousands from all over the country expected to attend.”
Food vendors and interested small business owners are requested to contact Sol Nkobane on 060-600-7425.
Tickets are available at Computicket from R180.
