Jose-Kyan releases his new hip-hop love song

Love is expressed the hip-hop way.

Jose-Kyan releases his single love song You are my Queen which is going to be a favourite local hip-hop love song.

Jose-Kyan, real name Kholofelo Matinketja, said he finally met the woman that he has been looking for and that is what inspired him to write a song to celebrate his new love.

“I met my love in May this year and she means so much to me. She loves everything about me; she is accepting and loving to my two-year-old daughter. Therefore, I decided to write the song while I was relaxing at home one day.

“I had a beat that was given to me by my producer, Uncle Trill,” said Jose-Kyan.

Uncle Trill told Jose-Kyan to work on the beat which had no lyrics at the time.

“I found the beat very inspiring for me to write a love song and my relationship with my new queen was only four months old when I penned down the song but it felt like it was there for years.

“The relationship was too good and I had to celebrate it,” said Jose-Kyan.

He said the song speaks about a man who found new love and it also speaks to those gentlemen who are still looking for love and trying to find their own queens.

Jose-Kyan said the genre of his music is hip-hop and the single was launched at Abies Complex on November 3.

“The response was very good because the song resonated with a lot of attendees.
