Tembisa lads to launch their new group on December 7

Teenagers choose music to express themselves.

Best Trap Killers (BTK), a new musical group, is due to be launched at Linda’s Place on December 7.

The group is the brainchild of the two Tembisa lads.

Sipho “Young Niggar” Nojela and Sibusiso “Tisor” Sithole came up with the concept. The idea is to use hip-hop genre to give expression to challenges facing the youth in Tembisa.

Young Niggar (15) says: “We have been rapping for four months, but we can give established hip-hop artists a run for their money.”

We love music a lot,” he says.

Young Niggar writes lyrics. He also polishes his rapping skills. Already, he thinks it will not be too long before his group becomes a household name in Tembisa – and in his school. He admits the response to their music is positive.

He shares in the writing of his music, and the writing of lyrics, with his friend, Tisor.

He is proud to say, “Our styles complement each other.”

Tisor (15) agrees. He says they hope to attract to their side hip-hop lover in Tembisa.

“I started writing hip-hop music in March this year, but I am already doing well.”

“People must come and hear what we have to offer.”

“We invite everyone to give us a positive feedback,” says Tisor.
