I-Muhluri Yesu to bless Tembisa gospel lovers
Muhluri Baloyi hopes to shine in the Gospel scene.
A Tembisa woman looks forward to flourishing in the music industry.
Muhluri Baloyi is now encouraging Tembisa residents to support her by buying her album, I-Muhluri Yesu. Despite being raised by a single parent, after her father died when she was only six years old, the 33-year-old singer enrolled at a tertiary institution for a qualification in social work.
“I enrolled with Unisa to study social work but due to financial difficulties I didn’t finish it,” said Baloyi.
She is working as a cleaner to raise funds to finance the recording of her album.
“I started singing at the age of four. I always loved music so I started writing my own songs in 2016. In 2017 I decided to record my album. I have released my album in 2019,” Baloyi said.
She is inspired by Pastor Benjamin Dube and Rebecca Malope. It has never been easy for Baloyi due to financial difficulties, but she is excited she finally made a mark with the release of her gospel album.
Tembisa residents who want to get the album and listen to Baloyi’s music can email mpholuu44@gmail.com.
“With God everything is possible,” she said.
