Join movie night under the stars on Saturday

The movie night will take place on the corner of Ebusi and Quintus van der Walt streets in Norkem Park

A local cheerleading group, Absolute Cheer and Tumbling, is hosting a movie night under the stars on Saturday, April 27 to raise funds for athletes going to the national championships.

The movie night will take place on the corner of Ebusi and Quintus van der Walt streets in Norkem Park at 6pm for 7pm.

The movie to be shown is A Wrinkle in Time.

Meg Murry and her little brother, Charles Wallace, have been without their scientist father, Mr Murry, for five years, ever since he discovered a new planet and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel there. Joined by Meg’s classmate Calvin O’Keefe and guided by the three mysterious astral travelers known as Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which, the children brave a dangerous journey to a planet that possesses all of the evil in the universe.

Tickets for the evening cost R50 adults and R30 children under 12. Bring your own camping chairs, blow up mattresses, blankets and pillows.

Food, popcorn, drinks and candyfloss will be for sale. Own food and drinks are not permitted.
