Local muso nominated for big award

Last year, Nkosi was nominated in the Best Gospel Spiritual category and managed to bring the award home.

Award-winning local gospel artist, Phumulani Nkosi is eyeing to bag yet another silverware after he was nominated in the KZN Capital Maskandi Music Awards 2019 (CAMAS).

This multi-talented muso from Emmangweni Section has been nominated in three different categories and is confident of winning.

“I believe I was nominated because the panel heard something in my music and therefore I believe I can bring one home,” says Nkosi.

He has been nominated in the best gospel spiritual, best zion DVD and best zion music vocalist of the year categories.

Nkosi, who has an appetite for collecting music awards, will not only be representing Tembisa but the entire Gauteng province.

“I am going there to represent my township, Tembisa and my province, Gauteng, and I would therefore, like to appeal to all Tembisans to vote for me in the categories I have been nominated in,” appeals Nkosi.

Last year, Nkosi was nominated in the Best Gospel Spiritual category and managed to bring the award home.

“I can do it again, but with your help,” says Nkosi.

He says after these awards, he wants to focus his energies on the much celebrated Crown Gospel Awards hosted in the Zulu Kingdom.

The CAMAS will be held in the KwaZulu-Natal in September. To vote for him, simply SMS 5Camas Best gospel spiritual Phumulani Nkosi to 45633.
