Song, stunts and acts will celebrate Carnival City’s 20th birthday
Each artist’s performance will be combined with a spectacular circus act or awe-inspiring stunts.
For the first time ever, some of South Africa’s best-loved artists will collaborate with death defying stuntmen and speciality circus acts from around the world to present a breathtaking show.
Dis ’n Sirkus is a show created especially for Carnival City in celebration of its 20th birthday. The action will unravel in spectacular fashion from September 6 to 8.
Taking to the stage for Dis ’n Sirkus are Willem Botha, Kurt Darren, Leah, Adam Tas, Lianie May, Lloyd Cele, Nadine, Die Campbells, Jay, Gerhard Steyn, Refentse and Demi Lee Moore.

Each artist’s performance will be combined with a spectacular circus act or awe-inspiring stunts. In true carnival style, there will be aerial stunts, fire acts, roaming clowns and stilt walkers, a carousel, face painters, candy floss and more.
“Imagine dancing to Kurt Darren’s Kaptein while trapeze artists fly at heart-stopping heights above your head or tapping your feet to Jay, Gerhard Steyn and Adam Tas while death-defying motorcyclists risk life and limb to entertain you in the Globe of Death,” says Michelle Smith, marketing manager at Carnival City.
The Friday and Saturday shows are at 8pm and Sunday’s show at 3pm.
Tickets are priced from R160 a person at Computicket.
