Colourful fun for kids these holidays

There will also be balloon sculptors and face painting to look forward to.

Carnival City has an array of activities to keep kids and the young at heart entertained these school holidays, whatever the weather.

Geared-for-kids theatre shows, laser tag, go karting, magic bowling, arcade games, a dedicated kids cinema and the outdoor Pocket Park are just some of the activities available to young people.

The fun and games kick into top gear during the school holidays from March 20 to 29 with an exciting line-up of activities in the Pocket Park. Visit the Pocket Park between noon and 5pm in the school holidays to participate in fun filled, out of space themed arts and crafts workshops.

There will also be balloon sculptors and face painting to look forward to every day. Diarise these dates:

• 20 March – Build a rocket.

• 21 March – Themed cupcakes.

• 22 March – Dots in space art.

• 27 March – Build a spaceship.

• 28 March – Themed cupcakes.

• 29 March – Themed beaded crafts.

Also catch the vibrant musical theatre show, The Adventures of Robin Hood, at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre. Robin Hood steals from the rich to give to the poor, but this time Robin cannot be in the limelight.

It’s the Sheriff of Nottingham’s turn and he has a story to tell that will make you quiver in your boots. The show runs from March 26 to 29.

Tickets are available from Computicket.
