Young up-and-coming artist makes waves in the entertainment industry

Known by his stage name The.Good.Kid, Sinthumule said he was attracted to music from the age of five.

Up-and-coming hip-hop and Afro-pop artist Fhulufhelo Sinthumule (22), from Thembisa, is making waves in the music industry and does not plan to stop anytime soon.

Known by his stage name The.Good.Kid, Sinthumule said he was attracted to music from the age of five.

He added that he was inspired by his father, who also loved and played music often, to take music seriously.

“My family encouraged me to tell my own story through my craft. This is the influence I grew up in and the support I got from my family,” said Sinthumule.

He dropped his EP Now Its Just a Dream on February 16, 2019, which got him a Best Newcomer nomination at the 2019 011 Awards.

He was also nominated at the 2019 ETTM Awards for Best Newcomer for one of his songs, Ingozi.

“I have shared the staged with the likes of Yung Swiss, Zooci Coke Dope and Big Star. I was also a radio presenter at an online radio station called Koppolla Radio,” Sinthumule said.

He has also interviewed artists such as Blaq Diamond from Ambitiouz Entertainment and Luna Florentino, to name a few.

The young artist recently dropped a music video for his song Told You So.

He also dropped a single, Untitled, from his second 13-track EP called God is Watch, which he released on February 16, 2020, along with his documentary.

“My other single June ’98 represents the month and year I was born in. I want to show my listeners a different side of me that they do not know yet,” concluded Sinthumule.
