Children introduced to flying

Children experienced the joys of flying when they recently visited a local air field.

A group of children from the Rabbedoe Nursery School in Wilro Park recently visited the Jack Taylor Airfield.

This is done as part of their transport education programme and this visit is hosted complimentary by the licensee of the Krugersdorp Flying Club.

Owner of Aviatech Flight Academy and instructor Chris Kyle presented a short introduction to the children about flight.

Aviatech, based at the Jack Taylor Airfield in Krugersdorp, is training future pilots – just like the young Fernando Jansen van Vuuren who sat with great anticipation in one of the cockpits of a plane.

Dale de Klerk made his aircraft available for the children to sit in the cockpit.
