Golf day for Barry

Owner of Perfect Swing Driving Range, Jan-Hendrik Grobler recently hosted a golf day in aid of Barry van den Merwe.

Together with Tom Gouws, who also was the day’s organiser, Barry received much-needed funds for an operation.

Barry works for Mogale City Local Municipality and is a former Springbok water skier. Barry was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and he is currently in remission, but doctors says he needs a bone marrow transplant very soon.

These operations are very expensive and Barry needs all the help he can get.

With the golf day they managed to raise in excess of R40 000 to help fund Barry’s operation.
