Pravin speaks to Krugersdorp
Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan addressed 250 delegates during an informative evening.
Last Tuesday evening, the Minister of Finance, Pravin Gordhan addressed 250 academics, business people and other professionals at the Centenary Hall in the CBD.
Gordhan spoke about the South African economy and the constraints that the country currently faces. He stressed the fact that South Africans do not save or export enough, which has resulted in our poor balance of payments.
The session was a call to action – anyone can earn an income no matter what their circumstances are, do not just sit back and accept the fact that you are poor.
A spokesperson for Mogale City said that the event was a huge success and that the turnout was better than they expected.
