Six Democratic Alliance ward councillors recently received long service awards, after serving 10 years or more on the council.
Councillors Annette Fourie and Eddie Sloan each received awards for 15 years’ service, while Jacqueline Pannall, Lynn Pannall, Dennis Pretorius and Margaret Mohube received recognition for their 10 years of service.
The awards were made at Centenary Hall by Jacques Hoon, the head of the Mogale DA Constituency.
