[PICS] Veggie patch and boerierolls for Pango Camp
In the spirit of Madiba Day, the residents of the Pango Camp in Munsieville received a vegetable garden.
The Acorn Foundation combined forces with Dassault Systems, and spent their 67 minutes for Mandela Day with the children of the Pango Camp in Munsieville.
The children enjoyed an action-packed day, playing soccer, running potato-sack races and taking part in a colouring-in competition. They also received gift packs with winter jackets and treats.
All of this happened while members of the Acorn Foundation and Dassault Systems team built a vegetable tunnel, and planted 1 000 seedlings.
Once the tunnel was built, and the children had had their fun, the team dished up delicious boerewors rolls to bring a day well spent to its conclusion.
