Police find half-naked body of a woman
Police cannot rule out the possibility that the victim was raped.
Kagiso Police have found the half-naked body of a woman on an open field between Boiketlo Hostel and Sinqobile Extension 3.
A passer-by called the police after discovering the partly decomposed body on Tuesday, 23 January at about 11am.
“The deceased sustained multiple head injuries,” said Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for Kagiso Police.
“A remote control and her cellphone were found next to her.”

The motive for the murder is being investigated. Police cannot rule out the possibility that the victim was raped. Her next of kin have been traced at Saulsville in Pretoria West and informed about the tragedy.
