Baby dies at creche during nap time
The owner of the creche fed the children before they went to sleep and didn't notice anything unusual.
Kagiso Police have opened an inquest docket in Rietvallei after a six-month-old baby died at a creche in the area on 20 February.
The baby took a nap with the other children as per usual each day.

The mother of the child came to fetch the infant at about 2.45pm and noticed something was wrong.
“The child did not wake up and when she further inspected the child, she noticed that he was not breathing,” said Captain Solomon Sibiya, spokesperson for the Kagiso Police station.
“They then rushed him to a clinic where he was certified dead after some efforts to save him.”
The police do not suspect foul play at this stage, but an investigation is continuing.
