Woman killed in hit-and-run in Dan Pienaarville

A woman died after she was involved in a hit-and-run last month.

According to the police’s West Rand Flying Squad’s spokesperson, Karen du Plessis, a case of manslaughter is being investigated.

She added that the incident occurred in Pienaar Street in Dan Pienaarville on February 23.

An unknown woman in a white Mahindra allegedly ran over the victim. When police arrived, paramedics on the scene confirmed the woman to be dead at about 21:35,” she concluded.
