Gate motor gang stopped in their tracks: Four arrested
Four suspects were arrested for gate motor theft after police followed up on a lead.
In the early hours of March 5, the West Rand Flying Squad (WRFS) received a tip-off about the theft of gate motors.

The spokesperson for the WRFS, Karen du Plessis, said their members followed up on the lead and found the lookout car along Ontdekkers Road in the Florida area.
We pulled over the vehicle, searched it and found crowbars along with other housebreaking tools.
“Four people were subsequently arrested,” she explained.
She concluded the vehicle was also known to be used for multiple house robberies in the area.
