Burst pipe hits Apple Park, Burgershoop

A burst pipe has caused a water outage in Apple Park and Burgershoop, with repairs expected to take around eight hours.

There is currently a water supply interruption affecting Apple Park and Burgershoop, which the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) is addressing.

According to MCLM’s assistant manager for media and PR, Refilwe Mahlangu, the interruption, reported on December 5 at 11:37, is due to a burst pipe. The damaged section was isolated to prevent further water loss and allow the team to begin repairs.

“Our Water Services team has assessed the damage and placed an order for the necessary materials. Repairs are expected to take around eight hours, after which water should be fully restored. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank residents for their patience,” she said.
