Residents unite to clean up the Wishart Street house of horrors

The Krugersdorp North community has united to clean up 23 Wishart Street, which has been considered an eyesore for years.

Tired of the abandoned house at 23 Wishart Street in Krugersdorp North, frustrated residents took matters into their own hands, rolling up their sleeves to clean up the neglected property.

“This incredible effort proves that when a community comes together, it can achieve remarkable things. A united neighbourhood is a thriving one,” said councillor Mark Trump.

Trump also highlighted the collaborative effort behind resolving the long-standing concerns surrounding the property.

“I’m proud to have worked alongside both local and district municipalities, the police, and the CPF to address these issues. We also issued legal notices, which resulted in the successful arrest of illegal occupants. Once the owners are identified, they too will be held accountable.”
