St Ursula’s Gr 1s begin their school journey

The 2025 Gr 1 learners at St Ursula's Primary School were surprisingly unafraid and in good spirits on their first official day.

The new Grade One learners at St Ursula’s Primary School showed extreme enthusiasm, were full of energy and were in good spirits as they embarked on their first official school day on January 15.

Their shoes were shiny, uniforms pressed and their faces lit up – totally unafraid. This was evident as youngsters were quick to let go of mom or dad’s hands on their arrival while others were not shy to socialise and make friends. Teachers also lined up and seemed well-prepared for the new academic year.

Of course, the first day would always be not-so-serious as learners focused mainly on fun activities such as drawing and clay art, however, the more serious work will soon begin.
