Do you have any unresolved issues? It is strange how dreams can bring to light unresolved issues.
Things, hidden in the back of your heart and mind that, through a dream, bring up a bit of resentment and even unforgiveness. One night recently, I had a dream of our house being invaded by strangers.
No, not a modern house invasion, a family my dad tried to help living with us. My dad died 25 years ago. He was a Pastor with a very good heart. But we, his family, was often his sacrificial lamb to help strangers.
I love my dad and to this day I respect him as a father and man of God. But is my dream proof of some resentment? Yes, it must be. To go on, I have to learn to resolve my issues.
I wonder if you have some unresolved issues? Way back in history, things said and done that you still struggle with. Maybe a little verse I have superficially believed needs attention today, Mathew 6:12, “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those that have sinned against us”.
It is frightening to realise that people long dead can still influence our lives today.
Why not right now close your eyes and say with me, “I choose to move on today a free person”.
P.S. Unresolved issues can be a prison.
