Darryn Binder ends MotoGP2 season early due to arm surgery
South Africa’s Darryn Binder will miss the final two MotoGP2 races after confirming he needs surgery on his left arm, bringing his 2025 season to an early close.
The MotoGP2 season ended early for local racer Darryn Binder, due to arm surgery he has to undergo.
On his official website, Darryn announced he was forced to drop out of the last two races for this season to have surgery done on his left arm. He did not race at the recent Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Portugal on November 9, and he won’t race at the upcoming final at the Motul Grand Prix of the Valencian Community from November 14 to 16.
Darryn has intense pain in his left ulna, where the website stated that the surgery will be done in the upcoming days.
According to Gresini Racing’s official website, Darryn was 24th in the Championship Standings with 19 points before his season prematurely ended.
