Zone 2 Zone Half-Marathon returns

Nkowankowa Athletics will once again host the annual Letsitele Spar Zone to Zone Half Marathon on Saturday, November 27.

The third edition of the marathon promises to be bigger and better than before. The event was last held in 2019; due to the Covid-19 pandemic it had to be postponed until restrictions eased down. The run will have three routes options 21.1 km, 10km and a 5km fun run.

The last race saw marathon lovers from clubs all over Limpopo participating in the local race. It still remains to be seen if Ludwick Mamabolo and Phuti Sethowa will defend their titles in 21km and 10km respectively. The starting and finishing point will be in Letsitele at a venue to be announced soon.

Entry fee is R180 for 21.1km, R120 for 10km and R50 for the fun run. Temporary licenses will be available at an additional R40 for the 21.1km and 10km races. Entries are open online at www.entryninja.com from Monday, October 4 until Saturday, November 16.
