A call for cyclists to join charity race

Victorious Attitudes is calling on local cyclists to be part of wheelchair charity race at Letaba Special School on Saturday, November 27.

Cyclist and philantrophist, Ntwanano Ngobeni will be leading the race with other cyclists.They will start the 86.9km route from Dan crossing at 05:30 using the Coach House, Agatha route.

Their second point will be at the Disaster Management Centre in Tzaneen, and then onto their third station, the Deerpark Cross, where they will go straight to the school. They will be donating 32 wheelchairs, sanitary pads and hand sanitisers to the school.

“Anyone who wants to cycle with us to the handing over ceremony is welcome to do so. They can choose at which point they want to join us, depending on their cycling abilities.

A lot of people seem to be scared of the Agatha route, but they can join us wherever they are comfortable,” Ngobeni explained. In the photo is Ngobeni and his friends in April when they cycled from Pretoria to N’wamitwa where they handed over wheelchairs and groceries to a centre for disabled people. Emelda Tintswalo Shipalana
