Primary schools to fully reopen from 26 July
Primary schools will be able to return to the daily attendance and traditional timetabling model from 26 July 2021.
Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga published amended regulations in the Government Gazette yesterday, May 28 which will enable primary schools to return to the daily attendance and traditional timetabling model from 26 July 2021, provided that the risk adjusted differentiated strategy is implemented.
This is also applicable to schools for learners with special education needs (Grades R to 12).
