Man found dead on the Magoebaskloof pass

Police in Maake and Tzaneen respectively are investigating two separate culpable homicide incidents which occurred over the past weekend.

According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Mgoepe, in Maake area, near Turkey Village, a sedan car was travelling with four occupants when it lost control and overturned, killing two women at the scene.

The driver and the other passenger were taken to Sekororo Hospital with serious injuries for treatment. The deceased were identified as Nkhesa Mmola aged 29 and Theresa Rambau aged 35. The cause of the accident is still unknown.

Meanwhile in Tzaneen, along the Makgoebaskloof road between Tzaneen and Polokwane,  a body of a man around his twenties was discovered lying next to the road with serious head injuries and a broken left leg.

“At this stage we don’t know what exactly happened, we can not rule out a possibility that he might have been knocked down by a car, Ngoepe said”

The possibility exists that still more vehicles may have run over the life less body unknowingly.

This is deduced because over the severity of head enjuries alone. At the time of going to press, his identity is as yet unknown.

Anyone missing a family member or not had contact for an extended period of time, can visit the Tzaneen police station to assist in identifying this individual.
